Bandit’s New SG-75 Stump Grinder Is Sweeping Through The Nation
The new Bandit SG-75 is engineered to be the best all-around stump grinder on the market. With the flexibility to move around job sites of all types and sizes, this unit is capable of serving in a high production land clearing effort but also efficient as a backyard grinder in residential settings. Stump grinding professionals will benefit from the productive rate at which this machine can readily and decisively reduce a vast quantity of stumps.
Powering the SG-75 is a Kohler 74 horsepower diesel engine with electronic fuel injection, which is the most horsepower for any stump grinder in this category. Streamlined gearbox drive systems power either of two 27" diameter cutter wheel options -- a 1" thick Bandit cutter wheel with 32 Green teeth, or a 1.25" thick New Revolution wheel with 44 carbide teeth. When an operator is ready to come out swinging, Bandit's unique Super Sweep function can be enabled to prevent too big of a cut and stalling of the engine by backing the cutter wheel away until the engine recovers its RPM. This can assist unseasoned grinders and keep operations running smoothly.
With its industry-leading chip containment, the SG-75 can coral and control stump grinding debris thrust from the cutter wheel with its broad wingspan, collecting a massive volume of ground material in a concentrated pile to make cleanup easier. With an extensive 80" cutting swing, stretching wider than all others in its class, repositioning the unit during the grind can often be eliminated along with the burden of having to rake up errant chips around the hole when finished. These attributes earn more time for the operator to spend grinding.
In terms of sizing up the stump, the SG-75 can achieve a cutting height of 31" from the ground and plunge nearly two feet below the surface to eradicate roots. Altogether with its unmatched, unprecedented, and staggering 54 cubic feet of volume in the chip collection chamber below the winged guards, it's no wonder that this machine has been appropriately nicknamed "The King of Containment".
Expandable and retractable rubber tracks on the SG-75 make it possible to navigate challenging terrain and provide a stable foundation for grinding. The tracks on the SG-75 expand to 55”, again the widest in its class, creating a broader distribution of weight to provide more power and leverage especially on inclined surfaces or uneven chip piles. Fitting through a standard backyard gate is also feasible as the tracks can retract down to 35”. The fast-tracking speed can get to stumps faster.
When it comes to controls, safety, and convenience a user-friendly radio remote control can command all functions of the SG-75 and also give operators the freedom to choose the best vantage points of the grinding process while maintaining safe distances. Simple buttons, switches, and joysticks on the remote allow users to manage precise settings and adjustments to swing speeds, drop distances, tracking speeds, and more. An optional grading blade is available to keep manual labor and fatigue at a minimum during the cleanup process after the stump has been ground.
Simply put, the new Bandit SG-75 track stump grinder will substantially outperform all competitive stump grinders in its class, ultimately saving time and money. Not only will it out-grind and out-shine its rivals, but its added conveniences and cleverly designed enhancements will promise a rewarding and ideal ownership experience. Thus, the Bandit SG-75 should be your front-line stump grinder.
